Refund Policy

1. General Policy

At Platinum Drones, our services are custom, scheduled, and labor-intensive. As a result, we do not offer refunds once a shoot has been completed. However, we aim to be flexible and fair with cancellations, rescheduling, and service issues.

2. Cancellations

  • 48+ hours notice:
    You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge if notice is given at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.

  • Less than 48 hours notice:
    A 25% cancellation fee may apply if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the appointment.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows:
    Will be charged 100% of the booking fee, as the time has already been reserved.

3. Weather Delays

If weather conditions make it unsafe or impractical to fly drones, we will:

  • Reschedule the shoot at no extra charge

  • Contact you in advance if a weather-related postponement is expected

You will not be charged a cancellation fee for weather-related delays if we reschedule.

4. Refunds

We do not offer full refunds once a service has been rendered. However, if there is a clear issue with the quality of deliverables (e.g. video file corruption, incorrect footage), we will:

  • Re-edit the footage at no cost, or

  • Re-shoot, if appropriate and agreed upon

All refund or re-shoot decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

5. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing correct property access and address

  • Ensuring that property is photo/video-ready

  • Notifying us in advance of any HOA, city, or FAA restrictions

Failure to provide access or meet legal flight requirements may result in a missed shoot fee.
